The daily commute can be so much more…a jewel which can be experienced, a sculpture which can be treasured centuries from now…
The design of the entrance is envisioned as sculptures in the park. Its rhythmic design is driven by the need to be distinctive yet maintain a harmonious relationship with its scenic setting. To capture the eye, the ‘barcode’ pattern adopted allows the creation of diverse variations using a set of simple kit-of-parts to ensure ease of construction. In the night, the lighting of its interior sparkles through layers of glass with decorative screens, making it stand out in the park area, drawing attention to it, but yet fitting into the holistic design. The Marina South sculptures belong to a series of art work pieces, with subtle touches, appreciated from all sides, soothing the senses and providing a unique experience for the commuters.
